Cashmere Signature Confidence and Leadership

Helping you to trust your judgement, speak with clarity and lead with greater confidence.

Confidence, presence and leadership

You may already be capable, experienced and respected in your role, yet still find yourself questioning your judgement more than you would like.

Perhaps you replay conversations afterwards, become noticeably quieter around certain personalities or rely heavily on reassurance before fully trusting your own decisions.

For some, this shows up in professional environments where they struggle to fully own their voice, contribution or presence.

For others, it becomes more noticeable after stepping into leadership responsibility, where they realise leadership requires a very different set of skills beyond individual performance alone.

Although the situations may look different on the surface, they often return to the same underlying tension – trusting yourself consistently, particularly when expectations feel high.

In some environments, particularly those that are male dominated or where representation is limited, this experience can feel even more noticeable. For some women, and for many women of colour, this can also bring an added pressure to continually demonstrate capability.

That experience made it clear to me that capability alone is not always enough.

Confidence is not just internal. It is influenced by experience and environment, but it can still be developed regardless of those conditions.

70% of women say they have felt imposter syndrome at work.

When this often becomes noticeable

There are points in a career where something begins to feel slightly out of step. Not wrong, but not fully aligned either.

Professional confidence and visibility

For some, this becomes more noticeable in professional environments where confidence, visibility and self trust begin affecting how they contribute around others.

You may recognise this if:

  • you know what you want to say, yet you still talk yourself out of saying it
  • you’re articulate and capable in some environments, then noticeably quieter in others
  • you become more cautious around people who appear more confident or authoritative
  • you replay conversations afterwards, questioning whether you sounded credible, capable or confident enough
  • you soften your opinions, over explain or carefully adjust your approach depending on who is in the room
  • you feel highly aware of how you are being perceived professionally compared to those around you
  • you rely on over preparation because mistakes somehow feel more noticeable when you make them

Over time, this can affect not only your confidence but also your visibility and overall contribution.

Leadership responsibility and identity

For others, this becomes more noticeable after moving from delivering work yourself to leading others.

  • guiding people with different personalities, motivations and working styles
  • creating accountability without becoming reactive, controlling or emotionally drained
  • leading conversations without feeling the need to constantly prove yourself
  • maintaining confidence around stronger personalities or senior peers
  • motivating people who may not naturally work to your standards or pace
  • balancing authority with trust, direction and approachability
  • carrying the pressure of leadership externally while privately questioning yourself internally

Many people discover that being highly capable individually does not automatically make leadership feel natural.

Often, the challenge is not capability itself, but learning how to lead effectively without becoming emotionally controlled by pressure, expectations or self doubt.

So instead of...

  • talking yourself out of speaking, you trust your thoughts and contribute with greater confidence and conviction.
  • becoming quieter around strong personalities, you express your views more openly and hold your position with greater certainty.
  • feeling threatened by capable team members, you become more confident developing strong people around you and leading without needing to dominate.
  • relying on control to maintain authority, you create calmer, healthier team dynamics through steadier communication and greater confidence in your leadership approach.
  • constantly questioning yourself in professional situations, you develop an inner sense of self trust that allows you to communicate and lead more confidently across different environments.

Experience that informs how I work

I worked in male dominated spaces where I was talked over, second guessed or overlooked and often one of the few in the room who looked like me.

Over time, I began recognising how my own responses – hesitation and need for reassurance were also influencing how I experienced those environments.

Taking responsibility for my part in it allowed me to begin making deliberate changes in how I communicated, responded and carried myself professionally over time.

As that changed, the way others responded to me began to change too.

I was interrupted less, felt less pressure to prove myself and became more comfortable contributing, leading conversations and holding my position calmly.

That experience continues to influence how I work with clients today.

I understand how these patterns build, how they show up in everyday situations and what it takes to change them in a way that holds.

How the work is structured

Cashmere Signature Confidence and Leadership is delivered over six structured one to one coaching sessions.

Each session stays connected to what is currently happening in your professional life, whether that involves confidence, visibility, leadership responsibility, communication or workplace dynamics.

Together, we work through real situations in a structured and reflective way, helping you to better understand what may be influencing your responses and how to approach similar situations differently over time.

The focus is not simply on talking about situations differently, but gradually responding to them differently in practice.

  • reflective exercises and practical development between sessions
  • support around professional confidence, communication and leadership situations

58% of women now recognise confidence in themselves as a key strength.

Ready to take the next step?

If aspects of this page are reflecting some of your own experiences, then Cashmere Signature Confidence and Leadership may offer a useful next step.

The starting point is a conversation, an opportunity to talk through where you are and consider whether this approach feels right for you.

The Cashmere Approach

The Cashmere approach is calm, thoughtful and grounded in real situations rather than performance or motivational language.

The intention is not to create a version of yourself that feels performative or forced. It’s about becoming more certain in your thinking, communication and leadership in a way that feels natural and sustainable to you.

This work combines reflection with practical development, helping you to better understand what may be influencing your responses while strengthening how you lead and present yourself professionally. Over time, this creates a confidence that feels as strong on the inside as it does on the outside.

Costs

Cashmere Signature Confidence and Leadership is delivered as a structured six session coaching experience designed to allow time for reflection, application and meaningful development between sessions.

Sessions are typically held monthly, creating space to explore situations properly while gradually building greater confidence, self trust and leadership presence over time.

The full six session programme is priced at £595, further details about the programme structure is available on the options page.
